“This is where we belong” is an exhibition that questions the definition of reality through the works of contemporary artists. Using staging, images, or by creating virtual universes, they propose us to adopt postures of distancing with the subject and lead us to redetermine it.

The origins of fictitious landscapes and fragments of real memories merge and become distorted in a feeling of “déjà vu” where the motifs of a setting begin to appear. Here what is presented looks sometimes more true than reality itself, a fragmented world, a portion of territory, a reality revisited, reinvented, a sincere imposture.

Presenting their work in a variety of mediums, the artists in this show address specific issues of our time, the study of intermediate spaces where digital, physical and fictional overlap and intersect. It is a dream place, keeping in itself the shapes of reality and at the heart of which reigns a deceptive authenticity.
