Rikako, forty years old, of Japanese origin, settled down in France for love of a man. Rejected by her father because of her choice, she never returned to Japan. In France, she had a little girl, Léa, who, apart from her mixed traits, has no connection with her Japanese origins. But since she has discovered a photograph of her grandmother (Obāchan), she is begging her mother to meet her. So much so that Rikako finally agreed to undertake with her this trip to Japan.
